Peter graduated from Simon Fraser University in 1981 with a major in Commerce and a minor in Economics. He articled with a medium-sized firm in Vancouver, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in the spring of 1984 after his first attempt at the uniform final exams in June of 1983.
Peter practices in the insolvency area from 1984 to the end of 1986 where he worked on a variety of assignments and completed the Canadian Insolvency Course of Study. From 1987 onward, he has concentrated his efforts in the accounting, auditing and tax field with extensive experience in serving a wide variety of both large and small owner-managed operations. He has also completed the course study of the School of Valuations and has a diploma from the University of British Columbia in Mortgage Lending and Brokerage. He has recently completed the 2.5 years of the C.I.C.A. In depth Tax course. In 1994 Peter was a founding member of the firm STS Partners.
